What vacation would be complete without a beach? The sand and crystal clear water
will explain how the resort got its name over 60 years ago!
The safe sandy beach is protected and ideal for swimming and playing with our kayaks,
paddle boat, canoe, swimming raft and water trampoline. The lakeshore has a sand bottom
with no drop-offs. The water warms early in Clamshell Lake - kids are typically swimming
here before anywhere else on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes.
